King’s Cross Church is a Protestant church, holding to the tenets of the historic Christian faith. Our statement of faith is based on the New Hampshire Confession of Faith of 1853. Other expressions of our doctrinal commitments can be found in the Apostles' Creed and the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).
David has been in full-time pastoral ministry since 2016. He and his wife Margot have been married since 2013 and are blessed with four children. After serving in various pastoral roles at churches in South Carolina, the Duran family moved to the South Shore in 2024 to plant King’s Cross Church. Although they are new to the area, the move to New England has been a bit of a homecoming. Margot grew up on the South Shore, and the Duran family has been visiting the area for many years. David desires to lead King’s Cross Church to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ. In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his family, drinking high-quality coffee, and pretending to be a distance runner.
